CASUS PACIS / MOTIVE FOR PEACE

As a Parallel Program of MANIFESTA 10 (European Biennial of Contemporary Art) St. Petersburg’s Street Art Museum is holding its first exhibition - CASUS PACIS. Sixty artists from Russia, Ukraine, and other countries will present their work at an operational factory where, for the past two years, street artists have been creating murals on the walls of the workshops. The exhibition was originally dedicated to the hundredth anniversary of the First World War, but the present day, namely the events taking place in Ukraine, has now intentionally been brought to the fore.

MY PROJECT "FLAME AND ASHES" AT THE EXHIBITION CASUS PACIS / MOTIVE FOR PEACE.
WALLS + LIGHT INSTALLATION

Especially for the exhibition I've painted a small room, where you can get if you walk down the stairs. On the walls are depicted in recognizable decorative manner, terrible events that gripped the country this year - people are dying, spilled blood, broken body everywhere, flames and ashes.
